AAD2007 - Vis Comm and Craft 

OGILVY:

As part of a research project, I was tasked with exploring Ogilvy in depth, analysing the company’s history, values, and influence within the advertising industry. The project involved researching major clients, notable creative campaigns, and previous work to understand how the agency has built its global reputation. I also explored Ogilvy’s creative approach, branding strategies, and company culture, gaining a deeper understanding of how successful advertising agencies communicate with audiences and maintain strong client relationships.

 Creative Research - Georg Olden

 Research into georg olden and his design style 

Replicating his style into my own design for a gumtree advert.

 Georg Olden:

As part of a research and creative development project, I explored the work and influence of Georg Olden, focusing on his groundbreaking contributions to graphic design and visual communication. I researched his design style, historical impact, typography, and use of bold visual storytelling to better understand his creative approach. Using AI image generation tools, I then experimented with replicating elements of Olden’s style in contemporary designs, allowing me to explore how modern technology can reinterpret and preserve influential design aesthetics while developing my own creative practice.

 

Final Product:

Using the base from Ai generation, I then adjusted in photoshop, to add more aspects of Georg, then added the advert features for gumtree advertising.
